July Friends Group

Our volunteers were thrilled to be met with a beautiful sunny winter day for their July Working Bee. The working bee consisted of planting a variety of indigenous plants, particularly along the foreshore, with the aim of reducing erosion. Some of the species planted were; Correa reflexa, Correa alba, Acacia paradoxa, Coast saltbush & Spinifex sereicia.

We were even lucky enough to spot a pod of dolphins whilst enjoying morning tea on the beach!

Our next working bee will be on Friday the fifth of August.
