Friends of Whitecliffs Foreshore Reserve.

Our Friends Group meets on the first Friday of every month from 10 am to noon at various locations throughout Whitecliffs Foreshore Reserve. You can also join the Friend of Tyrone Foreshore by contacting Terese Dalman, her details are in the poster below.

A Friends Group is a working bee that meets regularly to undertake a variety of tasks that will enhance our natural environment. These groups consist of like–minded individuals who hold an interest in protecting and enhancing a bushland or foreshore reserve. Regular working bees are undertaken in these reserves throughout the year, usually for a few hours each month. Groups participate in an array of activities from weeding, monitoring and planting.

Friends Groups are a great place to meet new friends, learn something new & contribute to your local community, whilst also being beneficial for mental & physical health. They also teach valuable skills and practical experience in the environmental sector that can build on tertiary education.
