Foreshore Camping on the Mornington Peninsula

WhiteCliffs to Camerons Bight Foreshore Campgrounds are open to the public for camping from 26 September 2019 until the end of April 2020.

Scout, school, outdoor education and community groups are welcome all year round – Please contact our office on  035985 3288 to make a booking.

CONDITIONS – Our campgrounds are situated within a Crown Land reserve and some conditions do apply –  including no pets, no fires (including coal BBQ’s) and only 1 vehicle per site – Camping Rules & Regulations document CAMPING RULES & CONDITIONS

How to book a campsite –  2019-20 Camping Season Only 

Please check the opening & closing dates for each campground before booking a campsite.

Steps to the online booking process –

  1. Go to website menu and click ‘Book Online’
  2. Enter your arrival and departure dates, number of adults & children then click ‘Search Availability’
  3. You will now be shown an overall map of the foreshore displaying the 2 campgrounds. Double click on campground of choice (please check the opening and closing dates of selected campground)
  4. You will now see a map of the selected campground.  Hover the cursor over an available site of your choice (available sites will have a green outline).  Click on this and follow the prompts to book and pay. Please note that you can only book one campsite at a time.

 

WhiteCliffs Campground Powered Sites

WhiteCliffs Campground (formerly Tyrone campground) is situated just one kilometre from Rye township. A total of 43 campsites on secluded coastal land with direct beach access, hot showers, toilets, a laundry facility, dump point and playground.

WhiteCliffs is open for camping from 14 December 2019 until 26 April 2020.

Camerons Bight Campground Powered Sites

Camerons Bight Campground Powered Sites (formerly Stringer Campground) is located 2km from Blairgowrie township. A total of 59 powered sites are nestled by the beach with hot showers, toilets, laundry facilities, dump point and a nearby BBQ area.

Camerons Bight Powered Sites are open for camping from 26 September 2019 until 30 April 2020.

Camerons Bight Campground Unpowered Sites

Camerons Bight Foreshore Campground has 65 unpowered campsites, some with views of Port Phillip Bay. The campground offers some of the best foreshore camping on the Southern Peninsula and has direct beach access, hot showers, toilets, a laundry facility, dump point and BBQ area.   Camerons Bight Powered Sites are open for camping from 22 December 2019 until 14 March 2020.
