Foreshore Camping on the Mornington Peninsula

CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19)

In the event that the COVID-19 restrictions prevent the upcoming 2020-21 camping season from taking place, a refund for any loss of booking will be issued to our customers.

Bookings for the 2020/21 camping season will open from 9am on Wednesday 5 August 2020 (excluding Xmas Peak Season – 19/12/2020 until 30/01/2021).  Bookings can only be made online from this website.

Please note that the camping season opens 19/12/2020 and that there are specific minimum booking periods for all public holiday dates. Information on the 2020/21 Camping Season including dates, prices, rules and conditions can be viewed on our website.

Scout, school, outdoor education and community groups are welcome all year round – Please contact our office on (03) 5985 3288 to make a booking.

CONDITIONS – Our campgrounds are situated within a Crown Land reserve and some conditions do apply – including no pets, no fires (including coal BBQ’s) and only 1 vehicle per site – see CAMPING RULES & CONDITIONS

Please check the opening & closing dates for each campground before booking a campsite.

 

How to book a campsite – 2020-21 Camping Season Only

Steps to the online booking process –

1.  Go to website menu and click ‘Book Online

2.  Enter your arrival and dates, number of adults & children then click ‘Search Availability’

3.  You will now be shown on overall map of the foreshore displaying the 2 campgrounds.  Double click on campground of choice (please check the opening and closing dates of selected campground)

4.  You will now see a map of the selected campground.  Hover the cursor over an available site of your choice.  Click on this and follow the prompts to book and pay.  Please note that you can only book one campsite at a time.

 

WhiteCliffs Campground Powered Sites

WhiteCliffs Campground (formerly Tyrone campground) is situated just one kilometre from Rye township. A total of 43 campsites on secluded coastal land with direct beach access, hot showers, toilets, a laundry facility, dump point and playground.

This campground is open from 19 December, 2020 until 25 April, 2021

 

Camerons Bight Campground Powered Sites

Camerons Bight Campground Powered Sites (formerly Stringer Campground) is located 2km from Blairgowrie township. A total of 59 powered sites are nestled by the beach with hot showers, toilets, laundry facilities, dump point and a nearby BBQ area.

This campground is open from 19 December, 2020 until 25 April, 2021

 

Camerons Bight Campground Unpowered Sites

Camerons Bight Foreshore Campground has 65 unpowered campsites, some with views of Port Phillip Bay. The campground offers some of the best foreshore camping on the Southern Peninsula and has direct beach access, hot showers, toilets, a laundry facility, dump point and BBQ area. 

This campground is open from 19 December, 2020 until 13 March, 2021
