Foreshore Camping on the Mornington Peninsula
WhiteCliffs to Camerons Bight Foreshore Campgrounds are open to the public for camping from 28 September until the end of April.
Scout, school, outdoor education and community groups are welcome all year round – Please contact the office on 035985 3288 to make a booking.

BOOKINGS FOR CAMPING SEASON 2017-18 (excluding Xmas Peak Season – 23/12/2017 to 3/2/2018) can be made online.
How to book a campsite –
Bookings can be made either online from our website or you can call our office during business hours.
When booking a campsite online it is best to use your computer or a tablet as you are able to book an available site of your choice using the interactive map, this cannot be done from a mobile phone as the interactive map is not available on that particular device. A mobile phone booking will allocate to you the first available campsite of chosen category.
Steps to the online booking process –
1. Go to website menu and click ‘Book Online’
2. Enter your arrival and departure dates, number of adults & children then click ‘Search Availability’
3. You will now be shown an overall map of the foreshore displaying the 3 campgrounds.
Double click on campground of choice (please check the opening and closing dates of selected campground)
4. You will now see a map of the selected campground. Hover the cursor over an available site of your choice.
Click on this and follow the prompts to book and pay. Please note that you can only book one campsite at a time.
Tyrone Campground is situated just one kilometre from Rye township. A total of 44 campsites on secluded coastal land with direct beach access, hot showers, a laundry facility, dump point and playground.
Tyrone is open for camping from 16 December 2017 until 30 April 2018.
Stringer Campground is located 2km from Blairgowrie township. A total of 66 powered sites are nestled by the beach with hot showers, laundry facilities and a nearby BBQ area.
Stringer is open for camping from 28 September 2017 until 30 April 2018.
Camerons Bight Campground is on the west Blairgowrie foreshore. A total of 68 unpowered sites in a coastal woodland setting with beach access, hot showers, laundry, dump point & nearby BBQ.
Camerons Bight is open for camping from 23 December 2017 until April 2018.
