Foreshore Walking Track
You can find this fitness station on the foreshore opposite Flinders Street in Rye.
The fitness station was manufactured in Victoria and is environmentally friendly due to its recycled plastic.
The fitness station has been funded by:
- Whitecliffs-Camerons Bight Foreshore Reserve Committee of Management,
- Rye and District Bendigo Bank Community Bank
- Southern Peninsula Community Fund.
We hope to gather more funding to install additional fitness stations on the foreshore in the future.
White Cliffs is a rocky cliff outcrop on a small hill about a kilometre to the West of Rye Pier. There are steps leading to a lookout area at the top of the cliff. While it is probably less than one hundred feet high, the views both to the East towards Arthur’s Seat and West towards Blairgowrie are quite stunning on a sunny day.
Pack a picnic for the family to enjoy & take in the stunning foreshore views between Rye & Blairgowrie.
